Scheduling and Availability

We know that navigating relationships can be challenging. That’s why CHR now provides Relationship Coaching for JBU students.

The quality of relationships impacts every area of our lives. Relationship problems are major sources of stress, anxiety and depression – particularly among university students. Even more, a lack of healthy relationships (social isolation) can further complicate things.

But, seeking information about relationships can be tricky. It can feel uncomfortable or threatening to ask someone for help or advice. More likely, it can just seem weird to ask other students for answers to personal questions, particularly when they’re trying to figure out relationships, too.

CHR’s Relationship Coaching provides professionally trained coaches to help you answer questions about relationships with family, friends, roommates and professors. We’ll even talk with you about romantic or work-related questions.

Relationship Coaching is confidential, practical, proactive and positive! The content of your conversation will be kept private.

Relationship Coaching is available during the normal academic year, with the exception of breaks and holidays

Relationship Coaching is not and does not replace ongoing, intensive therapy. If needed, your coach will refer you to Student Counseling or the Care Clinic for more intensive services.

PLEASE NOTE: Individualized Spiritual, Emotional & Relational Assessment (SERA) reports are only available for surveys completed after August 1, 2019. Let us know in the description that you want to review your report. Please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can prepare your report.
